Storage

Its internal storage has a 32GB capacity and has an expandable memory via micro SD card up to 128 GB. The bloatware is not that much, although you can uninstall some of the applications and programs you won’t be using.

Battery

The battery is perfect for gaming and for usage. With its 4, 300 mAh capacity, you can be sure that the battery is something you can count on. According to reports, it can withstand almost 4 hours of gaming and not lose 20% of the battery percentage. It’s good for medium to heavy gaming but the quality and the game flow might not be the best.

Performance

Since its processor is not that great, doing light to medium gaming is a very good feature of the Infinix Note 4. According to one Infinix Note 4 review, games that have high graphics requirements might cause you to experience lag and frame drop issues. However, games that have basic to medium graphics are perfect.

Social media usage is also a good factor in this. Since social media does not necessarily require high-quality requirements for usage, you can do social networking and social media almost 100% of the time. With its octa-core processor, you can open applications without the fear of the apps freezing and crashing.

Camera

The camera is extraordinarily good. With a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front, it’s good for perfect-lighting situations and can be used for taking portrait photos. It also comes with a dual-LED flash which can create perfect lighting situations.

Infinix Note 4 review: Feedback from people who bought it

In the Infinix Note 4 product in Lazada, you will see that a lot of people who bought it were actually satisfied with what the results are. There are other people who tried comparing it with other products of the same price range and were more than happy with their decision.

Infinix note 4 user review

Jose M., a customer who purchased the Infinix Note 4, relayed his satisfaction toward the product. He said that initially, he ought to purchase the XiaoMi RedMi Note 4 but he actually made a better decision in purchasing the Infinix Note 4.

Infinix note 4 user review

Another customer, Dino C., said that he got it for a good deal. He enjoyed the display because for the price, it’s something that you will not be expecting. He also added the fact that it had a pretty good battery capacity.

Just like other products, there are people who enjoyed the fact that the delivery is hella fast and reliable. Together with the packaging, it makes a perfect combination for the type of person who requires fast turnaround time and dependable packaging.

Our Verdict

Basing it on different reactions and Infinix Note 4 reviews from the people who had the chance to use it, the Infinix Note 4 is perfect for gaming and for high usage. With its advanced chipset and 4, 3000 mAh battery capacity, it’s something that big smartphone brands should consider as competition. Although the display and the resolution quality is something that speaks of the price range itself, you can still count on it in coordination to the processing and speed.

Overall, the Infinix Note 4 is an inexpensive device but can go a long way especially if you’re a heavy smartphone user. For a P6, 999.00 smartphone, it went beyond the expectation of buyers and the people who ordered it through Lazada. Hopefully, this Infinix Note 4 review somehow helped you decide whether or not this smartphone is for you.

Honor 9 Lite User Reviews: Smartphones That Cost Less Than Php10, 000.00

September 25, 2018 By Matthew Aaron Leave a Comment

In honor of a previous article, we will be tackling another smartphone review today from different people’s feedback. In a previous post, we discussed why it’s better and important to investigate and check what other people have to say about a certain product. Especially in Lazada where millions of people transact each day, it’s overly important to determine whether or not a certain seller is legitimate, and if the product is as good as it’s advertised. In this article, we will be looking at Honor Lite 9 reviews from Lazada customers.

Camera:

Other than the fact that both the front and rear-end cameras are dual-lens, it also has a new “beauty algorithm” which creates perfect portrait shots. With the help of the FullView display, it creates detail like no other. You can use it for picture-taking in both low and high light scenarios. Although the quality and the resolution of the photos are superb, you might have a problem under extreme lighting which could possibly make loud colors oversaturated.

Material:

It’s elegant-looking and sophisticated. The whole smartphone is glass and it has an aluminum frame that borders the phone. Overall, it looks classy and smart; since that is the case, it is prone to smudges and fingerprints. So you might have a difficult time if you’re always aiming to have a spot-free phone.

Display:

It offers a 427 PPI which provides sharp, clean, and colorful distribution of picture. Under direct sunlight, the screen is definitely viewable even if the brightness is less than 80%, not bad, huh? Since it doesn’t have bezels anymore, users can utilize the navigation dock which functions almost the same as the assistive touch in iOS.

Performance:

Tests have been made that concluded its ability to be able to play games even in medium-to-balanced resolution. There are a few frame drops and lags every now and then but the overall feel and run of games are normal.

Battery:

It’s powered by a 3, 000 mAh battery which is perfect for light-gaming and medium social media usage. The Honor 9 lite can withstand an hour or two of gaming and can be utilized for a full day given the activities that you do with it. The phone heats after straight usage but it doesn’t come to that point where it feels uncomfortable and not usable.

Huawei Honor 9 lite reviews

We’ve now come to the part everyone is waiting for. We will now be looking at some of the comments and feedback of people who purchased the phone or those people who are planning to buy it out.

Honor 9 Lite User Reviews Huawei Honor 9 Lite Reviews From Lazada

Majority of the feedback from Lazada contains positive words about delivery and handling. There are people who received it in two (2) days, there are some who were able to receive it in just 1-day turnaround. Overall, the delivery is what these reviews are highlighting. In addition, the packaging of the phone is also noticed. Although the phone box doesn’t come with earpods, people were happy with how and when it was delivered to them.

Honor 9 Lite Reviews From Lazada PH

To further add to the positive Huawei Honor 9 lite reviews, people were also amazed by the display and the processor of the phone. There are people who do heavy-gaming which turned out to have them lag, but casual games are fine. Jabril l., one of the people who purchased the phone, expressed his overall satisfaction with the phone and even said that this phone is prime and is actually cheap for what it can do.

There’s also one buyer, Precious B., who said that she was dumbfounded with the speed of the face unlocking of the Huawei Honor 9 lite. She said that the phone is amazing and that she can’t believe that a phone like that is being sold at a price she received. The downside, she says, is the bloatware. Although she can uninstall some, she’s stuck with other programs and apps she will never be interested to use.

To see and to know more about the product or if you’re interested, head on to this link.

Overall

To sum up the Honor 9 lite reviews in Lazada, people were dramatically impressed with how everything is. From the delivery and packaging of the phone, to how the phone performs in many different circumstances. Although it’s not a perfect phone that can support everything, it’s still a very good phone for a price less than Php10, 000.00.

August 26, 2018 By psmp Leave a Comment

As mentioned in a previous article, Lazada, the well-known e-commerce website, also offers smartphones. A lot of people use their service because millions of people are using it to transact. Furthermore, it’s also a great marketplace to sell and buy goods without actually going out of your house. Having that said, Infinix Mobile, a Hong Kong-based smartphone manufacturer, received hundreds of positive feedback with one of their latest phones, the Infinix Hot 6. In this article, we will be detailing the Infinix Hot 6 Pro reviews that are made in Lazada.

Infinity Display

The Infinix Hot 6 offers an Infinity Display that is perfect for streaming and taking photos. Even with bezels, this new smartphone offers an immersive and supreme experience for users. With an aspect ratio of 18:9, it’s truly something you could count on.

Phone performance

Based on the specs, it’s run by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 with a Quad-core processor. That simply means that this nasty smartphone can run multiple apps all at the same time without experiencing lag issues. Based on the feedback we will be given below, you will see what we’re talking about.

Advanced fingerprint and face ID unlock

Just like high-end smartphones in the market, the Infinix Hot 6 also offers face ID and fingerprint unlocking. You can forget the old-school password, PIN, and flow. With its ambient face recognition and fingerprint sensors, there’s no better way of unlocking your phone.

Battery capacity

To be frank, it’s quite surprising to see smartphones that carry an almost-laptop device in their pockets. With 4000 mAh, it’s safe to say that you can use the phone for one whole day without fearing the dreadful low battery sign. Best used for streaming, gaming, and for any other type of usage.

The feedback

In this Infinix Hot 6 review in Lazada, hundreds of people have shown their love and support with the brand. There were users who gave positive feedback about the phone being able to withstand usage throughout the day. On the other side, there were people who enjoyed the display, color, and the overall allure of the phone.

As per Karla L.’s review, the phone can be used for heavy-duty stuff like gaming, streaming, and even in taking countless photos. In addition, she mentioned that the phone is highly recommendable to people who multitask with their phones. Although she said that the phone heats up a bit when it’s used for gaming, it’s not like other smartphones who can literally burn when they heat up.

Other users shared their wonderful experience with the Infinix Hot 6 phone as well. To summarize what they’ve said, they were all satisfied customers. Given the fact that the price is affordable, they didn’t actually expect to have a superb phone at a very reasonable price.

Based on Infinix Hot 6 pro reviews, is it for me?

The question of whether or not a certain smartphone is for you depends on how you are going to use it. Given the specs, the Infinix Hot 6 pro has a good processor, it has high, dependable, and reliable battery, and the display and quality is crisp and accurate. If you’re into medium gaming, then this phone is for you.

As per reports, gaming for more than 5 hours a day reduces the battery around 12 – 15% overall. Imagine all of the other things you can do after you play games.

If you’re into photography, however, think twice about the Infinix Hot 6 pro. As per John F., the snaps from this baby is perfect for mid-shots only. Given the fact that the aperture of the phone is not in highlight, it might disappoint you when it comes to close shots and far-off snaps. However, in mid-shot range, the captures are sharp and clear. It even has a bokeh effect according to John F.

RATING: 4.7/5

In choosing a smartphone, always check on the specifications and reviews. We’ve given you the latter as a bonus but do not rely on these alone. There are tons of review videos and reactions on YouTube so feel free to consult there as well. As for Lazada reviews, out of the 87 ratings, the score of the Infinix Hot 6 pro is at 4.7/5 which is not bad given that the phone’s price won’t shove you down to poverty.

OPPO A71 2018 Phone Review – Philippines

July 1, 2018 By Matthew Aaron Leave a Comment

The smartphone market is becoming easier and inexpensive. A lot of companies are looking at Samsung and Apple and making their own versions of it. In fact, a lot of them are Chinese and Korean companies looking to play the game with the big ballers (Apple and Samsung). One of which is the Chinese brand OPPO which is reengineering the smartphone market.

There are a lot of noticeable models OPPO has released one of which was the OPPO A71 (2017). This year, OPPO has released a newer version of it, the OPPO A71 (2018). This newer version is ran by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset. The previous one had a MediaTek MT6750, which carries less RAM – 3GB RAM. Now that you know one of the main changes, what else is there to discuss?

Phone construction and overall design

Image: YugaTech

One of OPPO’s main signature looks is the curve on the edges of the phone. This specific feature was not lost in the A71 (2018). Technically speaking, it doesn’t look exactly different than its predecessor and the matte finish of the back of the phone won’t be filled with fingerprints which is excellent.

Image: YugaTech

On the right part of the phone you will see the lock/power button just slightly above the SIM and expandable micro SD card slot. The left part houses the volume button. On the bottom part of the screen, the buttons that serve as the task manager, home, and back buttons are still there. The top edge of the phone contains nothing but the 3.5mm audio port. On the bottom edge however, the charging port, microphone, and speakers can be found. The phone still uses a microUSB port although it would be nicer if they put USB Type-C port since it’s a newer version. Let’s hope that OPPO realizes the goodness of having a Type-C port.

Image: YugaTech

The back part of the phone has the 13MP camera and the OPPO logo. It’s finished with matte texture which is excellent in terms of not catching fingerprints and oil from our hands.

Image: YugaTech

Camera

Its camera is 13MP with an aperture of f/2.2 and an LED flash. The front cam uses an aperture of f/2.4 and 5MP.  In addition to that, the rear camera contains Beauty, Expert (manual mode), Panorama, Watermark, and HDR + different built-in filters to choose from.

Image: YugaTech

The front cam or “selfie” tool has Beauty, Depth (artificial Bokeh), HDR, and Panorama; the Beauty feature has levels 1 to 6 you can adjust.

Photos produced by the rear camera are are sharp and crisp. However, the rear camera has a hard time adjusting to very bright conditions, as it tends to kill or remove shadows. Despite that, colors are accurate with a good amount of details and color mixture. It’s excellent in well-lit areas but dim areas make it appear a little blurry, though.

The front cam, on the other hand, are good, it’s fine in dim-lighting but is fantastic in well-lit conditions. The whole A.I. Beauty technology thing works smoothly and just smoothens our selfies. Although it will look more natural without it, a lot of people patronize this feature.

Mutimedia and Display

Image: YugaTech

Same as the one last year, the A71 (2018) still uses a 5.2 HD IPS with the resolution 1280 x 720 (282ppi). It’s technically the same as the model last year that’s why it would’ve been nice if the resolution was straightened at full HD. The UI looks more Apple than the other smartphones in its tier.

Image: YugaTech

The volume is pretty straight and accurate although having it in max volume makes the sound pretty tinny. The combination of the UI, colors, and the sound concludes the characteristics of OPPO smartphones. It doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner by the way which requires you to do the traditional setting up of a lock/screen code. The back part of the phone is not occupied or whatsoever and OPPO could’ve used this space to apply fingerprint scans.

Battery

Image: YugaTech

The device comes with a normal battery of 3, 000mAh but it can last more than a day with average phone usage. Meaning, no heavy gaming, not too much time in social media, etc. The power and the efficiency of the SnapDragon 450 makes all of these possible. Charging the device can take 2 hours and 30 minutes to a total of 3 hours, though from zero. However, using it under draining circumstances and substantial uses might kill the battery performance; use it in moderation.

Operating System and Storage

One of the downsides of this newer OPPO model is its storage. Although it has an expandable memory via microSD, it’s internal storage is just 16GB which leaves you somewhere around 6 to 8GB of extra usage. The only third-party application built-in on the phone is Facebook, others are the defaults of OPPO. OPPO still has their default “owned” programs and applications like the Theme Store, Phone Manager, and the Manage (CleanUp) Tool.

Since we’re talking about apps, it runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and uses OPPO’s ColorOS3.2. Instead of a menu or an app drawer, it uses multiple home screens.

Overall performance, feedback, and price

In a whole picture, OPPO did a wonderful job in its processing and performing GPU and CPU. Moreover, the Beauty Technology is now present. Although OPPO could have taken this opportunity in taking the storage to a whole new level and the charger at Type-C USB port + the fact that it doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner. Although it’s still good at its below Php8, 000.00 range price. To be specific, its SRP is at Php7, 990 and is available to be bought in a lot of stores nationwide.

OPPO A71 (2018) Specs

In-depth Huawei Nova 2i Review – Philippines

July 1, 2018 By Matthew Aaron Leave a Comment

Right now, China is now considered to be the largest telecom infrastructure maker in the world of course with the help of various partnerships. Since it’s rise, the country has been making great excitement to subscribers by manufacturing mid-range Android devices.

Huawei is one of China’s best bets; they’ve been creating flagship models with extraordinary outcome since the day it was launched. The introduction of Huawei’s Nova 2i is quite appealing and out of the ordinary. It’s been creating popularity with other smartphones with its large, near bezel-less displays which puts more room for a bigger screen for better experience. A few of its competitors would be the LG Q6, the Vivo V7+ and OPPO F5. Huawei’s Nova 2i is nevertheless an additional hard competitor with its price ranging around Php15k.

This article will focus on reviews of the Huawei Nova 2i  as we come across all features and characteristics of the phone. We would also be tackling its design and how it is good; In addition, we will also include its battery life and most particularly the quad-camera setup which is said to be the first of its kind.

Design, Quality, and Construction

Image: YugaTech

Nova 2i’s main advantage is its quality; aside from being a good-looking device, it is a unibody, which means it doesn’t have any bezels; an all metal design with no plastic material. It has a tall and slim profile despite the humongous 5.9-inch display. It’s only 7.5mm thin and 164 grams in weight which is excellent for the display size. The power button and volume controls are on the right side.

Image: YugaTech

The size of the phone is still convenient to hold with its smooth, rounded corners and edges; it’s finished up with a hint of matte design. It is comfortable actually, can be easily gripped considering the size of the display. The antenna band at the back just forms a straight line, which also encompasses the LED flash.

It also comes in various colors – Graphite, Aurora Blue, and Prestige Gold.

The Nova 2i has a hybrid dual-SIM tray — the first one carries a nano SIM card and support 4G LTE while the second one can accommodate a micro SD card that goes up to 256GB or a nano SIM card. However, it can only accommodate 2G in terms of connectivity.

The fingerprint sensor at the back where it is normally found in almost every Huawei devices is just below the rear cameras. To add to that, this scanner works as quick as lightning; it’s easy to access and unlock the phone and it can accommodate up to 5 unique fingerprints. Other than unlocking the device, it can also be used to toggle different shortcuts which you can then toggle or modify.

Display and Multimedia

Image: Yugatech

What’s noticeable about the Nova 2i is its gorgeous looking screen. It is called FHD+ FullView 18:9 aspect ratio screen. 5.9 inches of display squeezed into a 5.5-inch form factor; this is still not fully common even on flagships models. The sharp, FHD screen offers forceful and to some extent, saturated colors. The screen brightness is a little low when viewing in direct sunlight. The display is clear, with 2160-x 1080 pixel resolution perfect for those who love watching videos or live. The 409ppi gives it more than enough pixel density to produce accurate, noticeable, and sharp images.

The Nova 2i has a single speaker at the bottom, just on the left side of the USB port. The quality of the sound is excellent and maximum volume is loud. However, putting it on the maximum might cause damage so keep it to a minimum.

Camera

Image: Yugatech

The Nova 2i is the first smartphone from Huawei to gain quad-camera setup. It features dual lens cameras both front and back so that’s two rear cameras and two front-facing cameras.

The main 16-megapixel camera can shoot at full resolution in a 16:9 aspect ratio and the supported resolution is at 11MP. Both cameras are supplemented by a smaller 2-megapixel unit. The second rear camera is there to provide in depth-of-field and simulate very good aperture which can be as wide as f/0.95 to f/16.

Image: Yugatech

In terms of camera quality, I can be a witness that it’s out-of-the-ordinary in daylight. With an aperture of f2.2, it’s a bit hard to get a not-so-blurry shot when shooting in low light, so it’s quite difficult to maintain a great photo in the dark. Video recording maxes at full HD1080 at 30fps. There’s no 4K support but fancy features such as slow motion (480p), time-lapse and light painting are present. The front-facing camera also comes with LED soft light for better selfies.

Battery Life

Image: YugaTech

For typical average to heavy usage,  Huawei Nova 2i with 3340mAh of battery power can make it throughout a day. This is relatively good and can be used for 24 hours if you maintain the brightness low and cut on gaming and GPS. The battery is non-removable for better conduction and security, of course.

It can last for  a dy with standard calls, messaging, an hour of YouTube video, an hour of social media, and an hour of gaming. On the downside, there’s no fast-charging available and the use of a regular USB port rather than a type-C is kind of a letdown.

If you want a slight comment on how powerful its battery is, being idle for 6 straight hours consumes about 4-5% of the battery.

Overall Performance

An excellent display should be partnered with good performance, and the Nova 2i has persuading specifications as far as performance is concern. The phone is powered by Huawei’s latest home-baked Octa-core High Silicon Kirin 659 processor with Mali-T830 MP2 graphics. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which is expandable via micro SD.

If you’re wondering about gaming, yes the Nova 2i won’t disappoint you in gaming. Given the fact that it can accommodate heavy RAM usage, you can be carefree that no lag will remain even if applications are open.

Huwaei Nova 2i specifications:
